Lots of people have many items of clothing they have only worn a handful of times and very often never worn at all. Some ladies only like to wear items once or maybe like myself, you see an outfit, love it, have to have it, only to get it home and realise that you will never actually wear it. Now, come on ladies admit it, I am not on my own here!

So what do we do with all these unwanted next to new items? We leave them in our wardrobes for months, sometimes years thinking "I might wear that one day" until eventually we've had it so long we can justify either giving it to charity, a friend or putting it in the bin. This of course is great for charities/friends but no so good for us!

This is where The Designer Dress Agency steps in. You contact me either by phone or email, I will come and collect free of charge from Cheshire, Manchester or Merseyside and I will sell them for you. All you need to do is sort out the unwanted items and put them to one side for me, and that's it. I do the rest. I also advertise in Cheshire Life, Vogue & Yell.com.  I always carry identification with me for verification.  Furthermore, you can be assured of 100% discretion at all times.

All items are sold online.  Applicable items are photographed on a mannequin so they are presented in the best possible way.  Selling on line means I am not relying on local people coming into my shop. My shop is accessed by the World on a daily basis.  Not only this once your items have been photographed and listed they will be stored away in a safe clean environment until they are sold.

It is very important that the items you want to sell are in excellent saleable condition. All buttons present, clean etc. If in doubt ask your Mum or friend if she would buy it in its current condition, if the answer is no, then the chances are no one else will buy it. The better condition an item is in, the more money you will get.

Top end designer clothes, shoes and accessories.

Top end designer items such as Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood, Prada, Chloe, Gucci, Jimmy Choo will be sold on my own website The Designer Dress Agency.  They will be sold on either a fixed price basis or on auction with a proportionate starting price using current selling prices as a guide line.  You are welcome to suggest the selling price, however, if I think it is unachievable I will offer advice.

High street designer clothes, shoes and accessories

High street designer such as Monsoon, Per Una, Karen Millen, Kate Moss range at Top Shop & Laura Ashley will be sold on eBay.  I sell all eBay items on a 10 day auction with a £4.99 start price unless otherwise stated by you.  I am very flexible and my main aim is to accommodate you the client, however, experience tells me that in 9 out of 10 cases allowing items to find their own price in the current market earns clients more money in a reasonably short space of time than listing on a fixed price basis.

Bereavement service

I also offer a bereavement service.  I appreciate that is a very delicate and sensitive issue.  I lost a loved one a few years ago and have experienced first hand how difficult it is to clear out wardrobes and closets.  If the items meet the criteria above, I can help you with this process.  Many clients in this position find it a great comfort using the money raised from the sale of a loved ones items to open a bank account for a child or grandchild or simply treat themselves.

I only take 50% of the price an item sells for, this is extremely competitive.

I have no restrictions on how many items a client can give me to sell.
